TOPIC DISCUSSIONS

In conformation with the Resolutions of the General Chapter 2006: ‘The General Chapter 2006 assigns to the General Council to organize the GCO meeting of 2009 in preparation of the General Chapter of 2010’,

and in collaboration with Provincial Council/Co-Co the General Council some topics has been discussed at this GCO meeting.

The topics were:

•  Board structure of the congregation and the term of office of Councils
• The composition of the General Chapter
•  Active and Passive voting rights
• Resolutions of the General Chapter 2006 which were still open to be discussed
• System preparing the Chapter
• Financial policy
• Performance reports on the ‘International Training on Leadership’
• Reports on the congregational web-site
• Important points from the Councils/Co-co
